aboutbk site editor, Divine Sister Brahma Kumari Kathy Shea, has recently written an opinion
on the well worn 'destruction' topic (below).Though aboutbk continues to deny that God Himself predicted a 1976 'destruction' (leading to a new 'construction'). BKWSU spiritual leadership seems incapable of acknowledging the matter, dealing with it, and moving

The idea
is, of course, not new. Jesus, any number of Eastern mystics, and more recently Joseph Campbell, Eckhart Tolle, Shunyamurti ( one time BK Robert Shubow)+ADI DEV : WHAT ? and many others endorse the concept.
BK philosophy says that BK adherents are the unique catalysts to bring about 'construction' after
the 'destruction' cataclysms as described by Shunyamurti (below) in his introduction to an upcoming Sat Yoga Institute retreat.

Kathy Shea:Destruction or Construction?
'For nearly 20 years I have been a student of the Brahma Kumaris. In all that time, I’ve never
been seriously troubled by the notion of “destruction” as taught by the BKs. Perhaps it is because I was not acquainted with the BKs until after 1976, a date that has been mentioned as foretelling “destruction.”...
Nevertheless, the topic holds great interest. Over the years, the teachings contained in the Murlis have highlighted not only “destruction”, but also “construction” (or “establishment”)

Eckhart Tolle : 'A New Earth':
Referencing the Old and New Testaments , Eckhart Tolle talks of the collapse of the existing world order and the arising of
a ‘new heaven and a new earth’...'A new heaven’ is the emergence of a transformed state of human consciousness. and ‘a new earth’ is its reflection in the physical realm’...Eckhart goes on to say
that before the establishment of 'a new earth' there will be all manner of physical upheavals in the world ‘some of which we are already witnessing.’
